A professor at Harvard University in association with NEC has developed dvd-like discs that will hold up to 50TB of data and are based on organic life forms. He plans to have a product on the market in 12-24 months and already has a prototype he showed off at the International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Brisbane.
