It looks like AMD and ATI finally got the go ahead from regulators allowing them to officially merge into a single company. Which is what everyone pretty much assumed for them, the only reason they had to go through that process was to ensure that they weren't creating a monopoly and that all of the stock holders will be compensated for their stocks. At any rate, I hope to start seeing some amazing products start company from the new and much larger chipmaker.
