According to a recent study that was done by the Pew Internet and American Life Project, over 700 technology experts were asked to evaluate an assortment of situations and scenarios in an attempt to see what the potential technology changes and trends for the future. Most of them believe that what we see in Sci-Fi movies is what will happen. The whole flying cars, teleporting and all that jazz is supposed to be a reality in the very near future according to the "technology experts" that were interviews. Of course this is their personal opinion and is only based on their experiences and the limited selection of "experts" that were surveyed.
But none the less, I can't wait for it to happen. It sounds like an exciting thing to watch sci-fi movies and dream of it all being a reality. Save for the cyborgs taking over the planet and giant radioactive monsters attacking us.
