Skype is getting banned by universities

San Jose State University is the latest college to ban Skype from being used on campus by the students or faculty. The reason that they are claiming that the VoIP software be banned is because is a bandwidth hog and the EULA causes concern among the "IT" department. Although they are not banning several other VoIP carriers such as Wngo and Gizmo. According to Skype, during a call the amount of data transfered is less then 12/kb a second. Which is much less then an average download would be or an online game would use. So what's their real reasoning for all of this nonsense?
