Ashwin Navin thinks that DRM is not the answer to legal online video services due to it being out dating and inefficient. Which is ironic seeing that his company is coming out with it's own DRM-based movie service in the very near future. This move brings him into the business which makes everything a little confusing as to exactly why he is moving into the business if he doesn't like the product.
Perhaps he plans on changing the way the system works from the inside, but in some strange manner offering similar services. It all seems a little strange but hard to tell exactly where he is coming from with this recent announcement that he has made at a public event.
